Session playback

Review the recorded page, actions, console entries, and network activity behind feedback.

When a user submits a new thread, Quality captures the recent rrweb event buffer from the page. The recording is associated with that thread and can be replayed without navigating the live website.

Recorded context

Depending on what occurred during the captured window, playback can include:

  • Page structure and visual changes
  • Clicks and privacy-bounded input actions
  • Browser console messages
  • Network request method, status, outcome, and timing

Sensitive input values, request bodies, credentials, and headers are not exposed in the playback inspectors.

Timing

Inspector events use offsets from the beginning of the recording. If the user pauses before submitting a comment, the last rrweb event can occur before the actual capture boundary. In that case, treat the end of the available playback as the closest visible state to comment creation.

Best-effort rendering

Playback recreates the recorded DOM. Assets that are no longer available or were blocked during capture may be missing, while the recorded structure and available styles remain visible.
